I wish we could have a bit more free time in Tomar, as we couldn't really see the town. There is also very limited vegan and vegetarian options available in Tomar. The early morning boat ride felt so magical. A very very good day.”

“Our driver, John, was there on time to pick us up, and engaged us in lively conversation about the subject of the tour - The Knights Templar - and courted the idea of 'conspiracy theory or myth', of what the Holy Grail actually was. Is the Holy Grail a person or a thing - Hmmm? Who indeed was Mary Magdalene? Hs knowledge of the Templars was extensive and there was not much he did not have a response to in our questions. He drove with confidence and got us to the various locations safely and on time.”
