Next, the Torre de Belem, statute, and a shopping area. Next, to the Monument to the Discoveries. Gigantic statutes on the waterfront. Next, to Pasteis de Belem. This bakery was crowded. Paulo was able to get us inside the bakery. We watched a woman thru a glass window preparing the pastries. Then Paulo took us outside and showed us how to eat this delicacy the traditional way. We went back inside and purchased more delicious pastries.…”

In the Lisbon airport, there is an area where representatives are coordinating passengers with their respective company services & drivers. Due to the onslaught of intl passengers arriving in a small time window, it is a bit overwhelming unless you know where to check in. Once I figured this out, the young lady who was managing the logistics was very friendly and accommodating. “The driver arrived a few minutes early for my trip to the airport in Portugal. Very friendly with a nice comfortable car. The drive to the airport was very efficient. I was dropped off at a location that made it very easy to make my way to the appropriate terminal, through customs and security. Found my departure gate easily with plenty of time before my flight. “When I made the reservation I indicated the correct pickup location. But the Viator ticket doesn't show that, it only shows the city. So I made multiple attempts to reach the transportation vendor prior to our departure date to confirm our pickup. With no success. Viator couldn't even reach them. So I was scrambling to find alternative arrangements up to 1/2 hour before departure. But a driver appeared aabout 10 minutes before we were due to leave. “I was never picked up after sending the MTS company two emails with two individuals from the company acknowledgement and stating that my pick up was confirmed. The night before sent another reminder, again told it was going to happen. The day of my transfer noone picked me up or contacted me, the phone numbers given were not answered even the emergency number!! I had the hotel staff assist me and even they were troubled to the lack of response. I had to go and get a taxi and even after two hours not one response.
