“The tour of the outside grounds of the palace and the hike to Cabo da Roca were both great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of fun facts along the way. The logistics were a bit chaotic as we were together with another group that was doing the palace and wine tasting and there were a couple of times where we had to wait for our transportation but overall a worthwhile tour.”

“Our guide, Rui, was so engaging. He adjusted the pace to our level and we had a wonderful conversation throughout the hike. The trail was not-so-obvious, so we would have been lost without him. The payoff was tremendous--stunning views of the Atlantic coast from sheer cliffs. He even brought us a treat for some energy to enjoy as we sat on the cliff. It was nice to visit Lisbon and see all the history, but it was a real treat to get away from the city and see Portugal's coastline.”

“We booked this tour with Viator months before, but was abruptly cancelled by its sub-contractor on the tour date. We expect that Viator would offer a substitute guide. But it was simply cancelled. We understand it was an emergency that caused the cancellation, but it was something that we have planned months ago for this short trip. We ended up doing the Sintra tours ourselves but with some challenges. We did enjoy it though.”
